A new age approach to managing emotions
In life, we all experience a variety of emotions. These emotions come in waves, big or small, at times dragging us down below the surface. Instead of fighting these emotional waves, let's ride them to a place of balance. This concept is referred to as the "wave" skill from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Often, we are reacting to our emotions as we're getting dragged under the current, thrashing and panicking. This is using "Emotion Mind," when instead, we can chose to use "Wise Mind." Another DBT skill in which the name Waves of Wisdom was derived!
